THE COURTS RE-OPEN FOR SUMMER 2009 ON SATURDAY 2ND MAY (WEATHER PERMITTING)

Residents of Smalley Village and friends. If you haven't done so already then you are invited to apply for membership of the relaunched Smalley Tennis Club for the 2009/10 season.

We are looking to increase membership this year to preserve the club and raise funds for development of the all-weather court. We are also forging links with the local school and other community events. Progress has been made and we have secured a number of grants and are on the way to reaching our goal of getting the All-Weather-Court. If successful the work on the new court will start at the end of this Summer's season. The current one was last installed in 1958 and members should avoid using it as it is not safe to play on.

The club still has two extremely good and well maintained grass courts and these will be available as soon as weather permits.
